Colour trends:

We also popped by Sally Davie’s ‘Colour Material trends for Spring Summer 2015′ seminar hosted by Global Colour Research. Here’s our notebook on the four colour trends compiled by Mix Trends 28: Spring Summer 2015 global palette.

Colour trend

Aura: This urban palette is full of ethereal colours and fabrics with a soft edge. It includes barely there colours, greys with soft blue bases and coral pink.

Glaze: Inspired by the celebration of new growth and still waters, this colour palette features sultry colours including rustic red, greens and aqua tones.

Merge: Full of courage and confidence, this palette includes rich and indulgent colours including bold, saturated and natural tones.

Belong: Inspired by objects that tell a story and relate to our everyday lives, this colour palette includes soft neutrals, greys with green undertones and dark burgundy.

We hope you can take some of the trends we’ve identified and use them in your future design concepts.

Don’t forget, there’s still time to visit us on the Altfield Stand (370) at Business Design Centre until 5pm today.
