Being a new year, there’s no better time to be giving back.

As you may have already heard, we’re continuing our 40 Free Floors for 40 Good Causes’ campaign until July 2014. It’s easy to get involved, all you need to do is submit a name and a reason why your nominated cause or person should be considered.

We still have 21 floors left to give away and are now accepting nominations for January’s appeal. All nominations from December will be taken forward to this month, so there’s still a chance your nomination will be chosen by our judges.

A big thank you to all who have nominated in December! Once again, we’ve received some truly inspirational stories and nominations from the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand.

Although, it’s been extremely difficult to judge, we’re delighted to reveal our winners below. After reading their stories, we’re sure you’ll agree they’re extremely worthy causes indeed.

Our winners for December are as follows…

From the UK, New Hope based in Worcestershire. Paula Heath nominated the charity because of the fantastic role it plays in the local community working with children with disabilities, and providing support for parents and carers.

Our USA winner, Chattanooga Room In The Inn (CRITI), has been successfully nominated by Rhonda Gay. Rhonda very kindly wanted to highlight this charity, which works to empower homeless women and children to become self-sufficient by offering a temporary home while providing programs and services necessary to meet their goals.

And finally, Mrs Roisin Snodgrass from Australia, was nominated by a close family friend, Rob Sheehan, to receive a free Karndean floor. Sadly, Roisin and her four children lost their late husband and father, Scott Snodgrass in 2013. At the time, Roisin and her husband were in the process of renovating a new family home.

Please join us in congratulating all our winners!
