World Vision, a Christian humanitarian organization in the United States, is dedicated to working with children, families and communities, tackling issues of poverty and injustice around the world. Recently, we’ve had the chance to work with them on a cafeteria project in their headquarters in Federal Way, Washington.
The team working on the project had a very specific wish list in mind when it came to choosing flooring for their new cafeteria. With nearly 2,000 employees, durability, ease of maintenance and a great looking floor were the main criteria. It was essential that they were able to create a space that was inviting as well as functional.
In the end, our Art Select RL02 Summer Oak flooring was an easy choice for the project as it met all of their criteria, but also kept them well within budget.
The World Vision staff have been impressed by both the performance and look of their new Karndean floor. In fact, it’s received so many compliments that they’ve even had to put a sign in the cafeteria to tell employees and visitors what type of flooring it is. They sent us the photo below. Thanks for the free ad space, World Vision!
